Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information GothamIP, Inc. collects through this website, why we collect it, and who processes it on our behalf.

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to gothamoutsourcing.com (the “Site”), operated by GothamIP, Inc. (“GothamIP”, “we”, “us”), a California company based in the United States. It covers information collected through the Site itself.

It does not cover information exchanged under a separate written services agreement with GothamIP. If you are an existing client, the terms of that agreement govern how we handle information you share with us in the course of the engagement.

Information we collect

There are only two ways this Site collects information.

1. Information you choose to submit. If you complete the enquiry form on our Contact page, we receive the fields you fill in:

  • Your name
  • Your company name (optional)
  • Your company domain (optional)
  • Your work email address
  • The message describing what you would like to outsource

You decide what to include. Please do not submit sensitive personal information, credentials, or confidential third-party data through the enquiry form.

2. Standard technical information. Like virtually every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic request data — such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the date and time. This is generated by the act of serving the page and is used for security, reliability, and diagnosing problems.

What we do not do

We think it is as important to be clear about what this Site does not do:

  • No advertising or tracking pixels. There are no advertising trackers, remarketing tags, or social media pixels on this Site.
  • No analytics platform. We do not run Google Analytics or a comparable third-party analytics product on this Site.
  • No cookies set by us. This Site does not set cookies, and does not store personal information in your browser to identify you across visits.
  • No sale of personal information. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

If this changes — for example, if we add analytics in future — we will update this policy and the “last updated” date above before doing so.

How we use your information

We use enquiry information for a narrow set of purposes:

  • To read and respond to your enquiry
  • To arrange an introductory conversation where appropriate
  • To understand what you need so we can tell you whether we can help
  • To keep a record of our correspondence with you

We use technical request data to keep the Site secure and available, and to investigate errors or abuse.

We do not use your enquiry to add you to a marketing list without your agreement, and we do not send automated marketing from this Site.

Service providers who process information for us

We keep the number of third parties deliberately small. The following providers process information on our behalf:

  • Netlify — hosts and serves this website, and generates the standard server request logs described above.
  • Web3Forms — receives your enquiry form submission and relays it to our business inbox. It acts as the delivery mechanism for the form.
  • Our email provider — stores and delivers the resulting email, and any correspondence that follows.

These providers are permitted to process the information only to provide their service to us. Each operates under its own privacy terms, which we recommend reviewing if you would like detail on their practices.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as it is useful for the business relationship or potential relationship it relates to, and for a reasonable period afterwards for record keeping. If you ask us to delete your enquiry and we have no continuing need or legal obligation to keep it, we will.

Server logs held by our hosting provider are retained on that provider’s standard schedule.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what enquiry information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. To make a request, email us at faraz@gothamip.com or use our contact form and describe what you would like. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

California residents. GothamIP, Inc. is a California company, and we apply the following rights to anyone who contacts us, whether or not California law requires it in a given case. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you and how we used it
  • Request deletion of personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of personal information that is inaccurate
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

On the fourth point there is nothing to opt out of: as stated above, we do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We also do not collect the categories California law treats as sensitive personal information through this Site, and we do not use personal information for profiling or automated decision-making.

To exercise any of these rights, email faraz@gothamip.com or use our contact form and tell us what you would like. You may use an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf. We will not charge you for making a request, and we will respond within the timeframe required by law.

Because we do not operate accounts, logins, cookies, or profiles on this Site, the amount of information we hold about a visitor who has not contacted us is limited to the technical request data described above.

Security

We use reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect information — including serving this Site over HTTPS and limiting who can access enquiry correspondence. We describe what we actually do rather than claim certifications or security standards we do not hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

This Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Visitors outside the United States

GothamIP is based in the United States, and information submitted through this Site is processed in the United States. If you are contacting us from another country, please be aware that the privacy laws of the United States may differ from those of your own.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Site or our practices change. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.

Contact us

Questions about this policy, or about information we hold, can be sent to faraz@gothamip.com. You can also reach us through our contact form.
